Baby Dedication Weekend

Join us to celebrate your dedication to raising your child to know and love God.

Baby Dedication Weekend

Baby Dedication is a special weekend where we celebrate with families who have recently had or adopted a baby. This is a time to celebrate new life while also recognizing each families’ commitment to raising their child to know Jesus.

On Saturday, November 6, we will be hosting a brunch at PCC for all of these families. During this brunch there will time to fellowship with other families who have recently had children, have family photos taken by our photographer, and have a special family prayer time.

On Sunday, November 7, there will be a special prayer time during all worship services. Throughout this celebration we will be sharing our heart and desire to walk alongside you as you raise your child in Christ.

Baby Dedication FAQ

Who is able to participate in Baby Dedication?

Any parent(s) who have a baby, toddler, or child who calls Plainfield Christian home and wants to make a commitment to raise their child to know and follow Jesus.

If you have already participated in Baby Dedication (Baby Day) there is no need to attend twice.

Why should I participate in Baby Dedication?

This is a great opportunity for the church to come around your family as you commit to raising your child to know and love Jesus. We want to recognize your commitment and celebrate the faith of your family! This is also a great way to start the conversation as a family about how to bring Jesus into your family’s normal day-to-day rhythm.

Who all will be invited to the brunch on November 6?

Parents are encouraged to invite family members to join them for the brunch. This is a great opportunity for those in your inner circle to show their support during the celebration and commit to supporting you and your child in the years to come.
