The name "Home Group" is descriptive for a reason. We believe that there is power in opening our homes, as described in scripture concerning the early church.
Acts 2: 42-46
"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts..."
A Home Group is a gathering of brothers and sisters for the purpose of practicing hospitality in homes and growing in Christ together. These groups help us to grow through prayer, building community, eating good food together, and guided discussions based on Sunday's sermon. These groups are a great place to find real community, but also to learn and be encouraged as you become more like Jesus.
Home Groups meet throughout the week in homes and vary in size from 6-14 adults. Though there is flexibility within the model, the ideal Home Group is multigenerational and formed based on geography, as to group those who are already neighbors together. Each group is facilitated by a committed, trained Home Group Leader.
We strongly encourage you to consider joining one of our Home Groups as you continue to pursue God with us.
PCC's next Home Group launch will be Fall of 2020. Until then, feel free to register below and we'll be in contact with you later this summer!
