Licensed nursing and dental assistant professionals of all levels/degrees needed to assist medical and dental providers during patient clinics.
Licensed Health/Dental Care Providers
There is always a need for licensed providers from doctors, physician’s assistants, dentists, hygienists, skilled nursing, specialists, pharmacists, etc.
Urgent need for dentists persists as new patients are put on a waiting list. Average wait time is currently 2-4 months.
Answers phones, filing, greeting patients, patient check in-out, data entry, organizing materials, scanning or shredding documents, assist staff with various projects
Spiritual Care Team
Be willing to pray and share your faith in Christ with patients in need—some patients just need someone to listen to their stories and then simply offer a prayer on their behalf. Patients who need additional or professional assistance can be referred to other agencies.
Community Connections Team
Create newsletters, brochures, etc. to share with organizations throughout our community; desktop publishing. Assist with social media and website.
Cleaning & Maintenance Team
General light cleaning of facility; also, deep cleaning of exam/patient areas needed; minor repair work; Spring/Summer: lawn care, trimming. Winter: shovel sidewalks, plowing.
Bring in snacks or a light meal for volunteers serving in our evening clinics or for our monthly volunteer orientation.
Special Event Team
Help plan and coordinate special events for fund raising and awareness.
Vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms in the public areas of the shelter.
Anytime Monday thru Friday from 9am-5pm.
Cleaning residential rooms for new families entering shelter.
Monday thru Friday from 9am-12pm.
Painting rooms and hallways in the shelter.
Monday thru Friday from 9am-5pm.
Refrigerator/freezers of the shelter deep cleaned inside, outside, and behind.
Monday thru Friday from 9am-5pm.
Peer Counseling as a Client Advocate
You can save lives. Life Centers Client Advocates compassionately share the love of Christ and accurate medical information with women making pregnancy decisions. Click here for more information about becoming a Life Centers Client Advocate.
Show compassion to those visiting our pregnancy centers by offering a welcoming smile and a kind word. Center Receptionists play a crucial role in making clients feel welcome, while assisting with daily center tasks such as answering phones, clerical support and data entry.
Medical and Ultrasound Professionals
To help reach the thousands of women Life Centers sees each year, we offer free pregnancy tests, education on pregnancy and sexual health issues, and ultrasounds. We always excited to add trained medical and ultrasound professionals to volunteer pool to help raise our standard of care.
The Celebration of Life Banquet, the Walk + Run for Life, baby showers, bottle drives, etc. There is need for help with putting on all of the events at Life Centers.
Without prayer, Life Centers would not exist. We need as many people as possible praying for us. Prayer intercessors commit to regularly pray for Life Centers.

PCC Community Meal
With the influx of meals being made and delivered for the Thursday night Community Meal, the kitchen is in need of volunteers! They are in need of volunteers to help with meal prep from 1:00-3:00 pm on Wednesdays. Volunteers on Thursdays are needed from 2:00-4:00 pm and 4:00-6:00 pm to help with meal prep, packing meals, clean-up, and delivering meals.
Men’s Prison Ministry
Do you want to be part of a missional ministry that transforms lives in our community? Join the team that serves at the Plainfield Correctional Facility! They lead weekly Bible studies and monthly worship services to minister to men in prison. Simply loving these men like Christ be a positive, life-changing experience that offers hope. New volunteers will go through training and be assigned a mentor.
