Local Impact Opportunities

Help out community in Central Indiana by working alongside some of our Local Impact partners.

Active Grace

Meals at Camp Camby

Active Grace has begun meals for their residents and volunteer groups on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights at Camp Camby to emphasize relationships and community. They are in need of Life Groups to participate in serving monthly or quarterly with a meal, then visiting with the residents. Interested?

Specialized Volunteers

Active Grace is in need of a facilities and cabin repair and rebuild team to help one Saturday a month. Individuals or groups of electricians, plumbers, general laborers, and demolition experts are encouraged to help repair cabins at Camp Camby.

Become a Mentor

Active Grace mentors walk alongside residents on the Path to Success Program. Give 1-2 hours of your time a week to develop relationships with residents, while showing them Jesus, encouraging them, and providing wisdom as you help guide them through the curriculum.

Other Volunteer Needs

  • Food Pantry workers on Tuesdays from 5:30 pm-8:00 pm
  • Bucket Team members to meet on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm
  • People who are able to assist in cleaning anytime on Tuesdays-Thursdays 10:00 am-12:00 pm or 2:00 pm-4:00 pm
